It’s your baby’s first birthday party and your baby is turning ONE! You’re excited to throw a first birthday party but you’re at a loss of what to do and where to have it.
You’ve maybe done your research and looked around. Maybe you’ve considered Buzy Kids in Rancho Cordova or Fairy Tale Town in Sacramento but you realize, as fun as they are, they might not be the best baby birthday party environment. Or perhaps your little one isn’t walking yet. Maybe you start thinking of a great place you could let them down to crawl. Or Maybe something like a children’s gym! So maybe you start calling around and find out that most gyms like Tricks Gymnastics in Granite Bay do not even offer first birthday party packages.
Then you hear of renting a mobile soft play area. Or maybe you haven’t yet! Soft play has been trending to the top activity of choice for first and second birthday parties most recently. It’s perfect for crawlers and young walkers because it’s enclosed, it’s safe, it’s engaging, it’s fun, it’s simple and it’s flexible. Now it has opened up new possibilities of where you could host your party and what a party could look like. Here are a few locations you can now consider for hosting a smashing first birthday party that have become more appealing with your soft play set now in the picture. Now it’s getting closer to an idea that would be a great time for your birthday child and all your guests:
Your Home
Of course, the comfort of your own home would be some peoples’ best place to host your baby’s first birthday party. Your soft play area could go inside, front or back yard or even your garage!
Brewery
Maybe you and your village of peeps love the beer and brewery vibe. Many breweries in the Sacramento and Placer county areas have great venue space. Moonraker Brewery in Auburn and Track 7 Brewery in Natomas to name a few great ones! They’re becoming popular venues for family-friendly events. Adding a soft play would make this a great option for your baby’s first birthday party as well.
Community Center
Check your city’s community centers. They often have a lot of great options at reasonable costs. You can turn their space into a great party for your one year old. Things to note: some city’s don’t allow other vendors in their centers. So just be sure to check with your local Parks and Rec.! Private Venue
Private venues could give you a variety of options like Sierra2 Center in Sacramento where you could rent a room, hall or studio…or Blacktop Comedy in Rocklin and BLOC Venue in Roseville, could also be great options to throw anything from a sweet and simple to elaborate birthday party. The library in McKinley Park also has an event room for rent.
Park
If you want to throw an outdoor party, you can reserve space at a variety of great parks in the area: Peter Hill Heritage Park in Rocklin, Bannon Creek Park in Sacramento, etc. So many great parks with space to reserve! Let the older kids run off and play and have the younger ones playing happily in a soft play area near where the adults socialize.
